THE STORY OF FOUZDAR HOUSE
Fouzdar House is a 50-year-old house, originally built by a much-loved police chief of the Navrangpure neighbourhood of Ahmebadad. In its time, it was a stunning avant-garde example of the city’s tryst with Modernist design. Today, under the careful restoration by the family’s third generation, it pays tribute to their founder’s history and to the heritage & lifestyle of the city in the 1970s.
